On Friday, June 5, the Physician Assistant Program Class of 2028 celebrated the beginning of their medical journey with a white coat ceremony. The newly formed class comes to Feinberg from 17 different states and the District of Columbia. They hold degrees from 37 different academic institutions and, before joining us, worked in over 40 different patient care roles.
Keynote speaker Elizabeth Randolph, RN, PA-C, PA program principal faculty and a lecturer in Medical Education, welcomed the students to the PA profession with an inspiring message.
“The expertise symbolized by the white coat is not a destination. It is the lifelong pursuit of curiosity, humility and growth. This profession is a privilege. Celebrate the white coat you’re receiving today and always wear it proudly,” Randolph said.
Following the keynote address, each student received their white coat from their faculty advisor. Wearing their coats for the first time, the students were celebrated with applause from family and friends in attendance.
