Annual State of the School Address Slated

Ward Faculty and staff members and students will have an opportunity to hear from the Feinberg School’s top leaders during the State of the School Address Thursday, November 21, from 2–4 p.m. in Turnbull Auditorium, 303 East Chicago Avenue on the Chicago campus. Sponsored by the school’s Staff Relations Committee, the annual address will begin with a presentation by Dean Lewis Landsberg, MD, on school rankings, grant awards, recent faculty recruitments, and new school programs. He will also discuss the $75 million gift to the school from the Feinberg Foundation and provide an update on the status of VA Chicago Health Care System—Lakeside Division.

John E. Franklin Jr., MD, MSc, the Feinberg School’s new associate dean for minority and cultural affairs, will speak about the goals for his office, while Jeffrey C. Miller, chief operating officer and senior executive associate dean, will provide construction and financial updates.

A reception will follow in the Alumni Center of the Ward Building.
