On April 28 and 29, graduates from across the country gathered on the Feinberg campus to celebrate Alumni Weekend 2017.
During the two-day event, alumni reconnected with friends at social events and class reunions, as well as caught up on the school’s latest successes and updates during campus tours, faculty-led forums, and a state of the school address.

The weekend’s activities included tours of the Northwestern Simulation Center, where alumni practiced their surgical skills on state-of-the-art devices.
James Kelly, ’73 MD, ’07 MBA, president of the Medical Alumni Association, and Christine M. Kelly attended “Celebrate in Chicago,” a Friday evening event of dinner and dancing.
On Saturday, alumni met up for an early morning Fun Run along Lake Michigan.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Finley-Belgrad, ’87 MD, joined others at a yoga class held in the Galter Health Sciences Library.
Deborah Tuchler Linder and Jeffrey Linder, ’97 MD, MPH, chief of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine, reconnected with other alumni at the Pancakes and Perspectives breakfast on Saturday.
On Saturday evening, graduates of the class of 1967 celebrated their 50-year reunion at the Arts Club of Chicago.
