“Charlie and the Doctor Factory” Plays January 30 and 31

In Vivo 2004This year’s In Vivo production, “Charlie and the Doctor Factory,” will be presented Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31, on the Thorne Auditorium stage, located at 375 East Chicago Avenue, on Northwestern University’s Chicago campus. Showtime is 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door for the 25th anniversary show. Advance tickets will be on sale January 26–30 from noon to 1 p.m. each day in the Method Atrium, 310 East Superior Street, on the Chicago campus.

In Vivo is the annual variety show written, produced, and presented by Feinberg School of Medicine students from all four classes. More than 100 students are involved each year as writers, directors, producers, actors, musicians, and members of the stage crew. Make plans now to attend an entertaining and revealing night as medical students poke fun at the medical school experience and establishment in song, dance, video, and live skits.

Proceeds from the show will support Hanna’s Hugs, an organization that provides care packages and support to the families of hospitalized children battling brain tumors. The group was founded and is supported by families, friends, physicians, and many others affected physically or emotionally by childhood brain tumors
